I plan to upgrade all the conventional switches in my house to smart switches. The goal is to connect all these switches in the first stages to Tuya, Alexa Platform and later to connect it to Home Assistant. Switch The Zigbee interface was chosen mainly because ZigBee is a universal smart home protocol that fits my plans to download my current smart home system from the cloud in the future.
Before installing the Zigbee switch, you will need to install and configure the ZigBee Gateway. ZigBee Gateway is a hub that acts as a gateway for sending and receiving signals to ZigBee devices. around the perimeter radius of your home.

This ZigBee switch supports Tuya/Alexa Platform/Google Assistant.
ZigBee Gateway Specification
This ZigBee gateway needs a voltage input of 1A 5V. You can power the device using USB Power.
Communication protocol that the device supports:
- Wifi – 2.4GHz 802.11b/g/n
- BLE / ZigBee
- Step 1 -> Activate the ZigBee gateway
- Step 2 -> Make sure ZigBee gateway is flashing after power on
- Step 3 -> Open the Tuya app
- Step 4-> Click Add Device on the top right corner of the app
- Step 5 -> Select Zigbee Wireless Gateway
- Step 6 -> Follow the app instructions step by step
- Step 7 -> Verify if the ZigBee gateway is connected

After successfully installing and configuring the ZigBee Gateway, the next step is to install and connect the ZigBee Switch to your ZigBee Gateway.

When purchasing an electrical product over the Internet, you may need to verify that the electrical specifications meet the electrical standards in your country. For safety reasons you may also need to know if the product is approved by an organization recognized by your country.

Installation steps
Note : Please be careful, as you are dealing with electricity
(1) Level 1 -> Turn off the circuit breaker connected to this switch
(2) level2-> disassemble the existing switch and the switch cable
(3) Step 3-> Install a new ZigBee Switch
(3) Step 4-> Matching your switch to a Zigbee gateway.
-> Open the Tuya app
-> Select the connected ZigBee gateway
-> Press and hold the switch button for 5 seconds
-> Press until it flashes
-> In the Tuya app tap Add device
-> Tuya will try to match the device
-> Check if the switch is connected
